Rosso di Valtellina Nino Negri: the Alpine adventure begins
Rosso di Valtellina DOC Nino Negri is a Nebbiolo grown in the Alps that offers an introduction to discovering great mountain reds. The Nino Negri winery produces it with a short maceration and ageing both in Slavonian oak, to round out the tannins, and in stainless steel, to preserve its freshness.

Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo.

Ageing: 4 months in oak barrels, 2 months in stainless steel.

Tasting notes: Bright ruby red, it shows a fresh bouquet with notes of red fruits such as raspberry and cherry. On the palate it is dry, savoury and pleasantly light, with delicate tannins and a pleasant freshness.

Pairings: With cured meats and local cheeses (excellent with bresaola della Valtellina), first courses with light sauces, white meats.
