Rosé Wines

Tenuta Lenzini’s “B-Side” is a handcrafted rosé with impact and character, made from pure Merlot grapes grown in vineyards located 90 meters above sea level and set within a striking natural amphitheater of 24 hectares in the Gragnano hills near Lucca: here the vineyard is accompanied by an olive grove, just as it was in the 16th century, when the estate belonged to the Arnolfini couple. Since 2007, Benedetta and Michele have cared for this land and its fruits in respect of nature, its cycles, and its timing. They began working organically and soon the estate became biodynamic both in the vineyard and in the cellar: no synthetic products, no invasive intervention, only what is strictly necessary to enhance the fruit’s expressiveness and preserve its authenticity.

Tenuta Lenzini “B-Side” has the color of a rosé, but the intensity and body of a red wine. At the end of August, the fully ripe grapes are hand-harvested in small crates. In the cellar, the bunches are destemmed and the fruit undergoes gentle pressing: to avoid excessive color extraction, maceration lasts only 40 minutes; fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in steel vats, where the wine rests on the fine lees for six months. No fining or filtration is carried out before bottling.

Tenuta Lenzini’s “B-Side” rosé is captivating in its bright pink dress; the seductive aromas of pomegranate, small ripe red berries, strawberry, and cherry are framed by notes of citrus juice; the sip is fresh and fragrant, pleasantly easy to drink, and well-bodied. Suggested pairing? Try it with a beetroot risotto finished with stracchino cheese!

It presents itself dressed in a seductive pale antique pink, compact and luminous, and brings with it intense, complex, and ethereal aromas, with notes of small red fruits, violet, and rose. On the palate it is fresh and appealing, easy and immediate to drink. Excellent, finally, is the balance between taste and aroma, clearly highlighted by a long finish that is slightly and pleasantly mineral. Let yourself be seduced; it will accompany you from aperitif to after-dinner with its finesse and elegance. It also pairs perfectly with pizza. What more could you ask for?
