The spirit appears in the customs tariffs of some Piedmontese municipalities as early as the mid-1400s. In 1739, the Corporation of confectioners and distillers of spirits (or University of Distillers) of Turin was created, which adopted specific rules and regulations aimed at those practicing the art of distillation. Starting from the second half of the 20th century, the enhancement of Piedmontese Grappa began with the establishment of a Consortium that groups distillers and sets activity rules.

Grappa Bianca Nardini
It is a story that has been lost in time, that of the Nardini family, master distillers in Bassano del Grappa since 1779, and whose distillery, the oldest in Italy, is located right at the entrance of the famous Ponte Vecchio. A family-run business that, after seven generations, continues to make history for Grappa in Italy and around the world. Grappa Bianca Nardini is the most famous and widely consumed pomace brandy, recognizable among thousands, with its white label featuring the drawing of the Bassano bridge, where the 'Grapperia', the company's first historical headquarters, is located. It is produced with pomace from typical Veneto grapes and subjected to a triple distillation method (in small stills, in a water bath, and continuous) to give it body, taste, and purity, followed by a double rectification process, that is, a double cut of the heads and tails, to ensure a clean and elegant product, thus guaranteeing its maximum quality.
Transparent and crystalline, it has a straightforward and decisive aromatic profile of dried flowers, raisins, and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is dry and consistent, with a beautiful enveloping persistence.
To be enjoyed neat or to correct coffee, its characteristic aromas allow it to be surprising in mixing.

Grappa Riserva 3 Anni Nardini
Nardini is among the leading Italian companies in distillation, with a family history that goes back seven generations! Located right at the beginning of the Ponte Vecchio in Bassano del Grappa, this two-hundred-year-old distillery has made history with Grappa in Italy and around the world. Its Grappa Riserva was born in the early 1900s from an intuition of the Nardini family and is a simply precious distillate, symbolising a continuous capacity for innovation; aged for a minimum of 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels, it is a pomace brandy made from grapes sourced from the foothill and hilly areas of Friuli and Veneto, produced according to a triple distillation method (pot still, bain-marie, and continuous) to confer body, taste, and purity, making it a distillate of great quality! With its aromas and elegant taste, it is the perfect conclusion to an important meal.
Bright amber colour, it has aromas of marasca and raisins in spirit, vanilla and caramel, tobacco and aromatic herbs. Smooth on the palate, rich and intense, with fragrant fruity and spicy hints and a woody finish.
Serve it at room temperature, in a small glass with a flared rim: it will show its best.
