Corona Extra was born in Mexico in 1925 and immediately became the quintessential pilsner of the Mexican people. Among the best-selling beers in Mexico and the United States, it is appreciated for its fresh, light, and thirst-quenching taste, and the shape of its bottle, crowned with a slice of lemon, has become an unmistakable icon. And this is how it should be drunk: ice-cold and straight from the bottle, as tradition dictates in Mexico, because with little foam and fine quality, pouring it into a glass would lead to excessive oxygenation of the product, altering its taste.
It has a very bright straw-yellow colour with lively effervescence. On the nose, it expresses simplicity with citrus notes accompanied by a slight hint of hops.
