Crushing of the grapes, storage in wine vats, bottling. The only material in contact with the wine during these production stages is AISI 316 stainless steel.
Grapes: 100% Falanghina (selected by GUIDO MARSELLA)
Soil: clayey – calcareous
Altitude: 350 metres above sea level
Age of vineyards: 20 years
Planting density: 3,500 vines/ha
Training system: Guyot
Harvest period: late September
Yield per hectare: 100 ql.
All the wines produced by Guido Marsella are marketed at least 18 months after the harvest, as the principle is to leave the must in the wine vats to mature naturally in all its characteristics; this “modus operandi”, without forcing, allows the wines after bottling, if stored at a constant temperature in healthy environments and away from light, to last for over 10 years.
