Gin

The name Bulldog Gin is represented on the neck of the bottle by a raised detail resembling a studded collar, but it is not known exactly why it was chosen. Perhaps because the bulldog well represents the British spirit and the unique character of this gin.

The story begins when Charles Tanqueray opened his distillery in the 1830s in Bloomsbury. The recipe is a closely guarded secret, but it seems to contain only four botanicals. A perfectly balanced and harmonious gin. The absence of citrus makes it drier than other gins, but the coriander gives it a lemony aroma

In 2003 the Wall Street Journal named it the world’s best gin. Refreshing and with a strong, bold character, it has a pleasantly floral aroma and a delicious flavour due, among other things, to the essence of German cucumber and the rose petal oil from Bulgaria present in the infusion.
