A great classic of Tuscan tradition, a rich cake made of a shell of crumbly shortcrust pastry, filled with a generous layer of custard and enriched with pine nuts and a dusting of powdered sugar to finish.

Delicious almond cookies produced in Monte San Savino, to be savored dipped in Chianti's "Vin Santo" or with the incredible sweet liqueur "Vicinale del Duca" made from the Tuscan late harvest.
