Belgian beers

Corsendonk Rousse is an Abbey craft beer produced in Belgium with carefully selected raw materials. Its style is similar to Strong Ale, and it is a red beer with a compact, creamy, long-lasting foam. It has a rich bouquet of sugary and spicy aromas; on the palate it has a sweet flavor, with a well-balanced bitterness and notes of caramelized malt.

Blanche Des Neiges is a Belgian witbier brewed by the renowned Belgian brewery Brasserie Huyghe, which has been producing beer for a full 350 years.

On the nose, it offers aromas of spices, flowers, and citrus. On the palate, it is light and balanced, with fresh citrus notes and spicy coriander. It finishes with a citrusy and pleasantly tart aftertaste.

It is a fresh and well-balanced beer, suitable for any occasion, especially when served as an aperitif or paired with meat, fish, and cheese dishes.

La Chouffe reveals initial citrus notes, followed by a pleasantly spicy sensation. This golden beer was the first to come out of the fermenters at Brasserie Chouffe in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, 40 years ago. Since then, it has accompanied every shared moment, whether on a walk, around a campfire, or on a terrace.

On the nose, it offers fruity notes of apricot, candied citrus, and sultana raisins. On the palate, it has a round and spicy flavor, with a balanced and harmonious aftertaste.

Excellent paired with roasts, grilled meat, or medium-aged cheeses. Also excellent as an aperitif beer.

With a mahogany red color, it develops a compact, persistent beige head.
On the nose, it gives off an intense fruity aroma (apricot, berries, and raisins) with notes of undergrowth, honey, spices, and yeast. A slight acidity can also be perceived. On the palate, where the fruity notes come through first, it is silky; the initial sweetness of malt and caramel blends with the pleasant bitterness of hops, which remains as the long finish.
The taster perceives a pleasant astringency that harmoniously complements the aromatic qualities of this beer. Overall, it is balanced and far from difficult to appreciate.

It is the darkest and strongest of the Chimay beer range, characterized by 9% alcohol by volume and a deep brown color with a thick, medium-lasting tan head.


In this beer, you can distinctly perceive the aroma of yeast, winter spices (nutmeg and cloves), together with a floral, herbal (thyme) aroma, red fruit, caramel, and roasted malt.
Impressive body and structure, with an intense flavor where the pleasant sensations perceived in the aroma are enhanced, revealing a slight but pleasant touch of roasted malt, licorice, and caramel.
If left to age, it also develops vinous notes that may bring to mind a Zinfandel, not to mention a Port if left to mature for 4 or 5 years. A first-class beer with a long caramel aftertaste.

Belgian strong ale

It is one of the rare non-bottle-conditioned "ale" beers produced in Belgium, with an amber color, a light and not very persistent foam, and abundant carbonation; its sweet taste comes from candied sugar.
