Vintage description

The 2022 vintage will be remembered as one of the earliest and most surprising ever: early because by the beginning of October the harvest operations can be considered complete, and surprising because, given the weather pattern, the vine once again demonstrated an unmatched ability to adapt. What was immediately evident from the start was the lack of water reserves in the soil; spring also continued with fine weather, without significant rainfall. The highest temperatures compared with historical averages arrived from the end of May and lasted throughout June; the high temperatures, combined with little precipitation, led to accelerated growth. The harvest was therefore brought forward significantly, with the white grapes picked in the first days of September.
