PLANI ARCHE - MONTEFALCO ROSSO DOC 2023

Montefalco Rosso DOC from the Plani Arche winery is an organic red wine that reflects the company’s dedication to producing wholesome and sustainable wines, free from pesticide residues and made with respect for the environment, thanks to the use of organic and biodynamic farming practices. This wine is the result of a careful blend of 60% Sangiovese, 25% Barbera and 15% Sagrantino, grapes that give the wine aromatic complexity and a robust structure. Montefalco Rosso matures in large wooden casks for at least 12 months, a process that further enriches the wine, giving it depth and roundness.

Visually, the wine has a ruby-red colour that turns towards garnet with ageing, a sign of its evolution over time. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex spicy profile, with delicate notes of tobacco that add elegance and refinement. On the palate, it stands out for its persistence and good structure, with light tannins that soften with ageing, making the wine increasingly harmonious and balanced.
