The winning idea
Sometimes it takes just a little to spark an idea, and the same seems to hold true for vodka! 42 Below was born from a reflection by Geoff Ross, an enterprising and insightful New Zealander who, while looking at an advertisement for an American vodka in a magazine, thought, after considering the climate and resources available in New Zealand, that he could try to produce it himself, and so he did! After two years and various attempts to find the grain (only organic and non-GMO), the best water, and the right distillation process, 42 Below was born, a particularly delicate, award-winning vodka appreciated worldwide. Its name refers to the latitude of production: Wellington, located at the 42nd parallel, and its alcohol content of 42%.
Clear and crystalline, it has a clean nose of white flowers, aromatic herbs, dried straw, and pepper; a harmonious and dry palate, with a slight almond finish.
Smooth or mixed with fruit juices, it is a vodka that satisfies everyone.
