Cognac Courvoisier V.S.
The Cognac of Napoleon
Courvoisier has very ancient origins, dating back to the 19th century, and its superior quality amazed Napoleon when he discovered it in 1811, so much so that following this, it began to be called "the Cognac of Napoleon", a definition that is also printed on the label. The company is the only one to have received the "Prestige de la France", the highest honor for excellence, being the only Cognac producer that fully controls the entire production process, from grape to bottle. To fully appreciate the characteristics and aromas of this special product, we recommend serving it at room temperature, in a wide round-bellied glass, and tasting it in small sips to best appreciate its refined soul.
Intense amber yellow color with coppery reflections. On the nose, it expresses fruity aromas of ripe apricots, along with sensations of dried figs and dates, yellow flowers, and toasted hints of sweet spices, sandalwood, and fragrant oils. The tasting is fresh and round, rich in aromas and vigorous, with a distinctive character and a short but very intense and powerful finish, like the aromatic returns it is full of.
