CAMPARI SODA accompanies aperitifs throughout Italy, although only the most attentive know that it boasts almost one hundred years of history behind it, a history that symbolises the meeting between art and advertising in the early years of the twentieth century.

Aperol is an Italian low-alcohol spirit, 11% to be exact, with an orange-red colour. The recipe for its preparation is, in theory, secret, but some of the ingredients are well known: bitter orange peel, rhubarb and gentian left to macerate in alcohol. It is famous for its SWEET-BITTER taste and its appealing aromas.

The Lombard version of the spritz: red, blood-red, passionate, bitter, iconic — a recipe that has remained secret until today (although some believe there are over 20, perhaps even up to 80, ingredients in its formulation), born directly from the intuition of Gaspare Campari. All this and much more is the Italian bitter Campari, an alcoholic drink created in Novara and consecrated in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. It has an intense aroma reminiscent of grapefruit and orange, with added herbal notes and hints of clove. On the palate, it is characterised by a pleasant BITTER taste, perceived against a WARM and VELVETY backdrop.

Uniqueness, originality, flavour: in no other city in the world do these concepts carry such special meaning as they do in Venice. It is no coincidence that Select was born right here, in the Castello district, the historic heart of the city. Among the 30 aromatic herbs that make up Select’s rich and complex formula, we find two truly special ingredients: RHUBARB ROOTS (macerated individually and crafted with artisanal skill, they impart a pleasant bitter note) and JUNIPER BERRIES (extracted through pure maceration, with their fresh, resinous notes they give the product great structure and persistence).

This creates a spritz with a very intense, complex flavour, thanks to the balance of the sweet notes of citrus and the bitter notes of roots and bark, with spicy, tropical notes that blend with the citrus notes. A pleasantly lingering aftertaste with fresh, lively notes due to the essential oils of the citrus fruits.

After the classics, here is a valid ALTERNATIVE to the classic Aperol spritz, where the sweetness of Chamomile, Lime Blossom, Sweet Orange and Vanilla, the spicy notes of Cloves, Ginger and Cinnamon, the freshness of Coriander, Marjoram and Wormwood, combined with the bold flavour of Rhubarb, Tamarind and Gentian, blend into a SYMPHONY OF FLAVOUR.

Nuovo Spritz dal colore azzurro come il mare: un sofisticato equilibrio tra la delicata asprezza degli AGRUMI siciliani e le note erbacee del ROSMARINO, la spinta di un pizzico di SALE MARINO e le sottili note floreali dei fiori di CAMOMILLA BLU.

Il BLU CURACAO (un liquore ottenuto con una varietà di arance dal sapore amaro, caratteristiche dell’isola di Curacao. Una volta essiccate le scorze d’arancia, in modo da far sprigionare i dolci oli essenziali, vengono fatte macerare in alcool, zucchero e acqua per diversi giorni. Dopo averle filtrate accuratamente, si aggiungono alcune spezie) oltre al suo inconfondibile colore (delle acque azzurre cristalline e dei cieli blu profondi che si trovano nel paradiso delle isole dei Caraibi) dona a questo aperitivo un deciso gusto di arancia.

Poco conosciuto fino a qualche anno fa ora uno dei più richiesti da chi vuole un aperitivo LEGGERO E DAL PROFUMO DI PRIMAVERA: ghiaccio, Prosecco, acqua gasata, sciroppo di FIORI DI SAMBUCO e una fogliolina di menta.

Alternativa all' Hugo: per questo spritz fresco e "montanaro" utilizziamo sciroppo di PINO MUGO al posto di quello di fiori di sambuco.

Nuova alternativa al classico HUGO: questa volta il prosecco incontra il CETRIOLO. Leggero e rinfrescante, da provare.

Fresco spritz al POMPELMO ROSA

Alternativa al classico HUGO, novità tra gli spritz, un aperitivo tutto rosa: Prosecco, LIQUORE ALLA ROSA e Acqua gasata.

Spritz dall' inconfondibile gusto di LIMONE E LAMPONE: ghiaccio, LIMONCELLO, sciroppo al lampone, acqua gasata, fettina di limone.

The Americano is part of the official list of IBA cocktails, the International Bartenders Association, and can be considered a true Italian pride, just like the Spritz. It is made by combining CAMPARI, RED VERMOUTH AND SODA (or sparkling water), ice, a twist of lemon peel and a slice of orange.
