Description: This wine from the Colli Orientali del Friuli has a very intense ruby red color, almost impenetrable, with purple reflections; it has aromas of small red berries and cocoa beans, with intriguing nuances of Mediterranean spices, incense, musk, and tobacco.
On the palate, it is bold, impactful, with pleasant tannins; notes of oatmeal, grilled meat, coffee pralines, with a broken and fresh finish.
It pairs well with game birds, red meats, roasts, and medium to long-aged cheeses.
