Welcome to Miramonti – Benieniusu a domu nosta
We have been here since 1985, when our uncles – Antonello with his wife Helga and Luciano – who emigrated to Germany in the 1950s, decided to return home and invest, together with our parents, in their own village.
They believed in the strength of their roots and in the dream of building a different future, right here, among our mountains.
Two returning emigrants, a German woman in love with Sardinia, and a shepherd brother-in-law: this is how the story of Miramonti began—a place where family, land, and hospitality come together.
In 2014, our family decided to continue this journey by opening Helga’s Agricamping, to also welcome RVs and tents, continuing to offer warmth and hospitality in the spirit of tradition.
We guarantee all our guests an authentic stay in Barbagia:
sincere hospitality, living traditions, and genuine food and wine.
You have arrived in the land of centenarians: here you will find comfortable rooms, a typical restaurant, a panoramic terrace, a bar, a heated swimming pool with hydromassage, and a massage room.
In collaboration with the Flumendosa Ecomuseum Cooperative and the region’s local farms, we organize activities and events for you to experience the most authentic Barbagia.

IN NONNA GIUANNA’S KITCHEN
There are scents you never forget:
those of freshly baked bread, of sauce slowly simmering, of just-made fresh cheese.
They are the scents of home, of tradition, of affection.
They are the scents of Nonna Juanna, who, with patient hands and a big heart, taught that
Food is the foundation of true happiness.
But what makes our dishes even richer is the long tradition of our family of shepherds, custodians of ancient knowledge and gestures passed down through time.
From their hands are born fresh and aged cheeses, the result of passion, dedication, and respect for the land and animals.
In our restaurant, we want to bring back this simple and sincere magic, serving flavors that tell a story:
seasonal vegetables, handmade fresh pasta, cured meats and cheeses from our farms, and meats that come from the pastures of Gennargentu.
Every day we offer a different menu, inspired by grandma’s recipes and by the lives of those who work the land and care for their animals every day.
You can choose between the daily menu or à la carte dishes, always with the possibility of adapting the dishes to your needs.
Here, at the table, we want you to feel as if you were at Nonna’s house: welcomed, listened to, and pampered by the authentic flavors of Sardinia.
