LA NOSTRA STORIA.....

It was 1969 when, from an idea of our parents, Bar Grandi was born in Focene - then a little-known seaside village. Over the years, that small bar, a meeting point for hunters and fishermen, grew with us, transforming and adapting to the changing times. In 1999, we three siblings decided to carry on that story by turning the bar into a restaurant. We did it without ever forgetting what has always distinguished us: the simplicity of flavors and a warm, informal welcome that makes each of you feel at home. Let's start by saying that all the wines on our list are dry (those often considered sweet are the aromatic ones), that prosecco (glera) is a grape and therefore not all sparkling wines are "prosecco," and that rosé wines, in most cases, are not made by mixing white and red grapes...
The characteristics of each wine are mainly given by the grape, the region of origin, and its processing. On our list, you will find:
White wines - obtained, with rare exceptions, from white grapes
Rosé wines - from red grapes left to macerate just long enough to extract only part of the coloring substances
Red wines - from red grapes
Orange wine - from white grapes but processed like a red in contact with the skins, with the typical orange color
Amphora wines - aged in terracotta amphorae, they are evolved and complex wines
Sparkling wines - wines with a natural petillant obtained from fermentation
Sparkling wines, produced with the Charmat method (in autoclave) like prosecco, with the classic method (bottle fermentation with selected yeasts) like Franciacorta or Trento DOC, with the ancestral method (bottle fermentation with indigenous yeasts) practically like our grandparents used to make
