VESSEL: Martini glass;
-2 oz vodka;
-1 oz lemon juice;
-1 oz raspberry syrup;
-Egg white;
GARNISH: 1 raspberry;
METHOD: combine all ingredients (save the egg white) in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 15 seconds. Separate the egg white from the yolk – discard the yolk. Strain out the ice and add the shaken ingredients to a second shaker. Add egg white. Dry shake (i.e., shake without ice; aka reverse dry shake) for 30 seconds. Double strain into presentation glass, garnish, and serve.
OLD MAID
VESSEL: Rocks glass;
-2 oz Uncle Val’s Restorative gin;
-1 oz white cucumber juice;
-¾ oz lime juice;
-¾ oz simple syrup;
GARNISH: Cucumber ribbon;
METHOD: combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 15 seconds. Double strain into presentation glass over fresh ice. Garnish and serve.
COSMO
VESSEL: Martini glass;
-2 oz vodka;
-1 oz lime juice;
-½ oz triple sec;
-¾ oz cranberry juice;
-½ oz simple syrup;
GARNISH: Lime wheel;
METHOD: combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 15 seconds. Double strain into presentation glass. Garnish and serve.
VESPER
VESSEL: Martini glass;
-2 oz vodka;
-1 oz gin;
-½ oz Lillet;
GARNISH: Lemon twist
METHOD: combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 15 seconds. Double strain into presentation glass. Garnish and serve.
PENICILLIN
VESSEL: Rocks glass;
-2 oz Dewars;
-1 oz lemon juice;
-¾ oz ginger simple syrup;
-3 sprays smokey peated scotch (Laphroaig);
GARNISH: Candied ginger;
METHOD: combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 15 seconds. Double strain into presentation glass over fresh ice and top with club soda. Garnish and serve.
NAKED AND FAMOUS
VESSEL: Pint;
-1 oz Mezcal;
-1 oz Lime juice;
-1 oz Aperol;
-1 oz Yellow Chartreuse;
GARNISH: Lime wheel
METHOD: combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 15 seconds. Double strain into presentation glass over fresh ice. Garnish and serve.
PAINKILLER
VESSEL: Pint;
-1 ½ oz Light rum;
-½ oz brown sugar simple syrup;
-1 ½ oz Pineapple juice;
-½ oz lime juice;
-1 ½ oz Coconut cream;
-Dark rum floater;
GARNISH: Mint sprig, pineapple leaf and nutmeg
Directions: combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 15 seconds. Double strain into presentation glass over fresh ice. Garnish and serve.
