Spaghetti all'assassina are a dish from the Bari cuisine made with spaghetti cooked in a pan with hand-crushed peeled tomatoes, garlic, and plenty of chilli until the tomato dries out, creating a superficial burn on the spaghetti.
This dish is not recommended for the faint-hearted and those with delicate palates!
